A Li'l Romance

Hee hee- I'm here eventually- Gee's I'm running late- WITH everything today- hahahaha. I went shopping with hubby this morning- (he took the day off after a heavy meeting) as we both needed to find something to wear for my friends Tracy & Gerards Wedding tomorrow-* talk about leaving it a little late*- ROTF!!! Hubby was easy- shoes, pants and smart shirt- DONE- ME??? Wahahahaha, now that was a different story!- I'm not a 'smart dressy' person and I live in casual clothes! Even when we go out at night I wear jeans or denim skirts with a 'smartish shirt'- but um- this is a wedding- I've got 3 bags FULL of dresses etc to try on later-( tooo tired now- hahahaha) but what I wanted to tell you is- Have you seen what you look like in those AWEFUL changing room mirrors!!! EEEEEK- Hubby was saying the other night that at my age I have less 'dimples' on my arse than Britney Spears- HAHAHAHAHA- HE LIED!!! * obviously doing the suck up-hee hee*. You can see EVERY little angle and lump and bump in those mirrors(it's even WORSE when you look like a see through ghost like me in winter!!!-hahahaha) and then just to add a little more insult to injury- they make sure that they add them ALL the way around the little room just to make you puke more!!! hahahahaha- So after the first one- I took everything on 'try first' pay later account system! And one is a 'pants suit'- but a FULL one with a boob tuby top- (* ok now I'm grateful for my Jelly Tot boobs- hahahaha) which I LOVE- so I will try that one on first- will take pics to show you next week!

And now for my last 'SMILE AWARD' nomination-

Bunny- (aka - the Boss)- My last nomination- but the first person to set me on my designing 'way' so to speak- My mentor- always full of encouragement and is always quick to help when you need it!! Quick with her praise and not scared to tell you when you have made a mistake either! I can't think of a better person to work under as well as helping me grow in my designing capacity! She looks after all 'HER GIRLS' at DSO like a Mother Hen and I would like to say that that is very rare to come by these days! But besides this- Bunny has the most wonderful sharp sense of humour that will have you holding your belly with laughter! Thank you Bunny for helping me SMILE each day!!!

And as I mentioned on my heading today- there's a Li'l Romance in the air this weekend- LOL

Tracy and Gerard are getting married on Saturday and it's our 18th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday ( HOLEY COW- hahahahahaha) It's been that long???- actually it doesn't feel like it at all- and it's only Nathan that keeps me realising just how long we've been married! We still have soooo much fun together and love being alone too- Love you Wayne and sorry for all those 'grey hairs' I give you- ROTFLMAO!

Don't you just LOVE this picture!! It was taken at the beach just around the corner from our house and I love how it turned out! Gerard only arrived back from Iraq on Thursday last week- He's actually Irish- but met Tracy online! How awesome is that! They are such a wonderful couple and they 'glow' together- I did this LO for them and am sharing a few of the papers etc with you- Thanks to Petit Moi for the template ( revised).

And here is a 'Li'l Romance- it's the papers ( added 2 plainish ones too) and some lace ribbon, flowers and glitter hearts! Scary morning-LOL

OH MY WORD guys- did I craparoo in my pants this morning!!! ( I tried to put that as nice as possable- ROTF)- I sat at the computer this morning and started sorting out my mail and typing a letter to all my CT members- when KAPOW- the lights dipped,went off and then on in like a second flat!- My poor 'puter' went 'bye bye'-screen BLACK and nothing!!! YIKES- that's when I pooped- BIG TIME!! There was no lights on the 'box' either- WHAT, don't do this NOW- hahahaha- Went crawling under my desk in my PJ bottoms ( that have a hole in the arse-a small one I must add- but still a hole), and had to find the wall plug socket!! Now you don't want to see what is under this desk!!! hahahahaha WIRES and more WIRES- EVENTUALLY I get to the plug and turn it off and then back on again- NOW the next mission is to get back out from under this desk-Ducking wires and the desk itself!!!!- Thank Goodness there was no-one around- I think they would have laughed more than me!! hahahahaha. Well thank goodness I heard the 'beeps' as I turned the plug back on- I swear it was the greatest feeling seeing that little red light on my box!!!!-hahahaha. We had a power surge and half the city has no power! But I'm making back-ups quick time here I tell you! I was sweating people!!- I did the last back up about 3 weeks ago- but you must know how much work you can do in 3 weeks and how much you collect!!- Phew I would have been in DEEP Poofoo!!!

Happy Birthday Silvia!!

Gee's it's the middle of the week already!!! LOL- one day's holiday and I feel a little out of 'wack'- feels like Tuesday- hahaha. I had my hospital duty this morning- I love doing it, and I get a chance to spend the morning with my MIL- ( hahahaha- she's a nutter too so we get on like a house on fire) and we laugh and chat the whole way around the hospital! Besides the 'volunteering work' I always leave with a light heart from all the laughing!! Thanks Zeddy!!

Today is Silvia's DAY- my wonderful friend and CT member! It was Silvia's Birthday yesterday actually-lol, but I had to finish something before I could 'announce' it here! I made a special LO/card for her and I wanted to finish it off properly so that I could give it to you as your freebie today!

And SILVIA is today's "Smile award' nominee too! Besides being on my team-LOL, Silvia runs a hectic lifestyle with working nightshifts at a hospital, her mom is ill and she is at home alone with her kids and cats because hubby is away due to work reasons- yet she finds the time to scrap, list freebies and tell us about her life on her blog!! That inspires me the most when I am feeling 'bogged down' by time or errands - I just remember how much you have on YOUR plate and mine doesn't look so big anymore-LOL- and you always do it with a cheer and a laugh! BOO- I'm here

LOL- Did you think I went MIA yesterday???- Well I sort of did- LOL, we had a public holiday- Heritage Day- so I spent it with my Hubby- and as usual I ate and drank toooo much-hahahaha. My poor son had to be at school by 5.30am on Sunday morning too- (hee hee- that one was hubby's job-LOL)- I don't think I would have made it out of bed by then- let alone try and focus enough to drive!- hahahahaha- I'm TERRIBLE in the mornings- I HAVE to have at least 2 cups of coffee before I can even make sense of what I'm saying or thinking- hahaha. Takes at least 30min to 'wake up' the 'dead'- LOL!!! Poor DS is just the same! We have NO problem staying up till 5am- but hell- Don't wake us at 5am- ROTF!!! Hubby is the opposite- he'll be asleep on the couch by 8pm (if you let him-hee hee) and up with the sparrows- so we 'tandum' well-hahaha- He does the morning routine and I do the night shift.

Yuck- no life or spunk- and I didn't like it-(nor did two very honest friends)- and hubby this morning also just 'topped the cake' by saying that it didn't suit me- it's too classical and lady like- LIKE DUH???- I'm not a lady???- ROTF- but I knew what he meant- so it's OFF and I LOVE IT!!!! We kept the frindge long for a change and I HAVE PURPLE HAIR TOO- hahahahahahaha Ok just the bottom is a deep purple red and I AM LOVING IT!!- wanna see-

At least we has some hair to play with this time- hahahaha, but at least I can do it up or mess it up and I feel happy!!! YAY!- in the LO underneath you will see the "longer version"- hee hee.

WE LOST, and YAY it's FRIDAY

Oh MY WORD- we lost the cricket last night!!!( World Cup Pro 20) BOO HOO! I thought hubby was going to throw the TV through the sliding door he was sooooo mad- hahahahahaha. We have won every single match so far and then loose when it's needed the most (for the semi final!!)- oh well GO THE BOKKE FOR THE RUGBY- hahahahahahahLOL, and that's tomorrow night- they had better win or I'm sure we are going to be sitting with a broken TV set for the rest of the weekend!- hahaha, Man hubby gets soooo tense during a game it's scary- but then again I scream and shout like a mad woman too- hahahaha,

Good News

Good news- Jazzy phoned her daughter yesterday- YUP- SHE phoned!! How great is that! And they have removed the feeding tube and she ate some soup on her own! I am soooo happy to hear this news! Go Jazzy,Go Jazzy!!! On other news- I didn't get any work done last night!!- hahahahaha- Yeah, my own fault- so moral of the story is- don't flash your hubby if you have work to do- ROTFLMAO!! I'm taking DS shopping again in a few moments- he has another hike for these school holidays! ( Gee's they only just went back I tell you!LOL)- so we need more Thermals! He's going up into the mountains for a whole week- tell you- rather him than me!!! I'm enjoying the warmer weather toooo much!! hahahaha- always reminds me of 'happy times and holidays'! And it's definetly on it's way!! YIPPPEEE-

Wonderful Wednesday!!

Oh summer is on it's way again!!! Yipppeeee, no more cold arse,feet and hands!! It's a warm and balmy day outside today and I think I might even attempt the driving range with my son- hahahahaha( hell I need all the practise I can get at this stage!)- oh and thanks to Barbs comment on why not a 'video' clip on my golf- well DS is working on it!- ROTFLMAO. I'll have to see if it's suitable for 'publishing' though- hee hee. And just a little bit of useless information- Do you girls realise just how much power your boobs have???- hahahaha, Honest! I flashed hubby from the window this morning as he left for work- and my phone hasn't stopped beeping and ringing- ROTFLMAO- He's been sending me messages all morning- and all that just from a quick glimpse at a set of 'not so firm anymore BOOBS"-'- hahahahahahaha.

Tutorial Tuesday

OOOH I was spoilt last night- hahaha, Hubby decided to take us out for supper- but not ANY old supper- SEA FOOD!!! YUM YUM!! I had prawns!!! DS and DH each had a platter ( but those things are sooo big I can't finish them-LOL, so I just steal a few things from theirs anyway- hahahaha). Oh I enjoyed it!! Still watering at the mouth when I think of it- hahahahaha.

Renee my wonderful South African counterpart and CT is on the mend and she has sent me this AWESOME LO using my Denim-flair kit!

Alive, running and revealed

hahahaha- Well I survived the weekend ( but JUST!)- Friday was an AWESOME day- no wind, warm and the sun was shining- perfect day for golf right?- LOL, yeah for normal people that is! I swear I make sure I play my moneys worth on a golf course- I play it double it's length! Only because my balls never go straight down the fairway- Tee off- and it's gone STRAIGHT in the bush on the left- so play it from there and land up in the bush on the right!- so I am zig zagging across the fairways instead of taking that nice easy walk down the middle-KWIM- LOL!!

And because this was a 'retail day' , companies were sponsoring certain holes(advertising) and they had shooters/shots and drinks on just about every 2nd hole! So as you know I'm always game- hahahahLOL, yeah the golf got worse but my mood sure got jolly! On the last hole (18th) they had a boat you could win by shooting stones from a catty at balloons! ( each balloon had a different prize and the boat was in there somewhere)- but only after you had a "down-down"- Um AGAIN- Ok- so I'll play, LOL- but I'm not listening so well to the girl explaining all the rules- all I hear is *this is for the sissy's* (a small green shot in a glass) and this is to shoot a stone at the balloons-(a long science lab beaker like thing with amber looking liquid in it!)- So MISS BRAVE(definetly not a SISSY-lol) here grabs TWO of the beakers as she thinks she will have 2 shots at the balloons- hahahahahahahaLOL- I did it quick- then the taste hit me! - URGGGGHHH, I had goose- flesh all up my body to my hair!! It was GROSS! My stomach was on fire and I grabbed that catty to show them I can do this- hahahahahah- I pull the elastic back from the catty and I wack my nose with my hand as I release it- besides the whole place laughing their arses off- my stone flies high and in the bush miles away- ROTF!! Same thing happened with the second one! It was a very long walk to the 18th tee I tell you- someone kept moving the ground I was walking on- hahahahaha ( I was told only at the end of the hole that I only needed to drink ONE to get 2 stones!!) ROTFLMAO! And that Amber liquid- was a mix of whiskey, tequila, banana liquor and vodka!!! GEEEEE"S! No wonder- hahahahahahahaha

EEEH, I'm yapping again today aren't I- LOL, My internet connection is SORTED!! And Katjie- your *Hellkom* comment had me in stitches!! How true a statement! LOL.

Oh MY WORD! LOL- I've had 5 technicians in my house(well office) today trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with my ADSL line! haha- Well it started with ONE- he then phoned another ( who brought some brand new testing equipment that no-one else has got- lol) He set it up and then the two of them where testing the lines- shook their heads and on the phone again- another 2 arrived! Now this is all in my little office I must add- hahahahaha- Well by the time the 5th one got here- I had no room to breathe! ( permanant- pull your stomach in stance-KWIM?_hahahah) They were here for over 3 hours people!! Eventually said it was our portable phone interfering with the line ( works off the same one) and put a filter on it- Reset everything and the 4 left and the one who arrived first stayed to see if it was all running to speed- UHUM!! It 'machine' said it was!- UNTIL HE LEFT!- ROTFLMAO- Murphy's law- it went POOF again!! So it was back on the phone- and now they have played with some other settings- ( don't even TRY ask me to explain that one- I barely understood what they were talking about this morning- hahahahaha) And here I am- hahaha, Don't have a CLUE for how long- but it feels good to at least be 'connected' again!

I won't be here tomorrow either- I was conned into playing in a golf tournament AGAIN tomorrow morning- hahaha( I'm sure they just ask me to go with as the 'free' entertainment- hahahah) And well after the last game - It's definitely not for my golf scores!! hahahaha.

This is from out dear friend Jazzy ( sent just before she went into hospital!) She opened her eyes today for the first time ( which is such great news)- but there is still no change on the ventilator status! So keep those prayers coming- they are definetly working!

Sorry guys- I've only managed to get on here now- GRRRR, it's been a frustrating day again as the net has been off most of the day- they are fixing it at the moment- some one in our network prividers office decided to UP the speed again!! Without saying anything and I've been on/off and poof since last night! hahahahahaha- Oh well at least it's stable again now with Wayne on the other phone telling them a 'little' piece of his mind! LOL- So I'm going to keep it short and sweet for now-

Tutorial Tuesday and a HUGE THANK YOU

I am sooooo overwhelmed by the response my request got yesterday! I Can't THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH! I knew I loved this digi community for a reason and man- I tell you there is NO other "community" like it! There are soooo many "faceless" people out there that we comunicate with on a daily basis through something we all love so much- and it forms a bond that I haven't seen anywhere else! I know that all of you don't know Jazzy, but most of you that visit my blog daily will see her work here almost on a daily basis- so she has touched you all in some way or another too- and I just can't get over the *love* and the prayers that went up yesterday! I'm very humbled and thankful to every single on of you! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! I haven't recieved any more news yet and am hoping that no news is good news so far- but I will keep you informed the minute I hear anything.

CELEBRATING!!!

WHOOOPIEEE, It's FRIDAY and you know EXACTLY where I'm heading tonight!! ROTF!! OUT and I'm having one or two of those Tequila's!!! ( ok ok- maybe more- hahahahaha) and for that reason I am puting this post up today- I can't do Saturday's- ROTFLMAO!

But before I get there I HAVE to tell you this story- hahahaha. Cricket season has just started here and my son had cricket trials on Tuesday- But um his dog decided that his 'ballbox'(that little hard plastic thing he uses to keep my future grandchildren safe!) was a chew toy! So in a panic he phones me from school and it's *Mom - I need a ball box TODAY*- UM- ok Nathan, but What size???? I mean my child is now 16 and he doesn't let me just walk in the bathroom anymore-KWIM?- hahahahahaha. He say's to me they're all the same size! So I rush off the sports shop to get one- the salesman in charge of the cricket dept can see I'm in a hurry and looking around- so asks what I need- Ummmm. a Ballbox?- What size he says??- NOw I start laughing and say just as my son has said- *Don't they all come in the same size?* - He blushed!! This man actually blushed!!! and I cracked up laughing- because I'm sure by now you can imagine what "thought process was going through my blonde head!"- so I start blushing! - Anyway we eventually settled on a 'youths'- but um it's a little snug- ROTFLMAO- So now I've just left that buying spree up to Wayne!!!( and any future "mens private protectors" purchases!- hahahahah

YIIIPPPPEEEEE- I'm back!

Thank GOODNESS! LOL, my word- it's been a few frustrating days!! hahahaha- What happened was that dear hearted Hubby decided to upgrade my internet "package" to the fastest speed available here in SA ( it's brand new) and UM well mine got slower and faster and slower and GONE! ROTF- After nearly 4 hours on the phone talking to soooo many different technical people- it was discovered that our 'line' can't handle that fast a speed so it was UNSTABLE!! HUH WHAT??? Then come fix it dammit!! hahahahahaha RTOFLMAO!! Hee hee- it was like me I tell you- UNSTABLE! I'm back on my "old package" again so at least I know that is ON- slow but steady- hahahaha. Hubby is sorting out the rest today - he said if they advertise it- then they have to come and do it! hahahaha ( GO WAYNIE GO WAYNIE *shaking my pom poms*)
