Happy Thanksgiving

A Very Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! I hope you all eat a sh----t load- lol, and from the menus I have seen flying through from our designers I would say - I WOULD!!! hahahaha, OH MY GOSH- it all sounds so mouth watering and I think Bunny is making like 100 different pies! I WANT A PIECE OF EACH - PWWEEEAAAASEEE- lol. I know it's not all about *food*- and that it's a time to give thanks for what you have and have got- so hoping you all spend a wonderful day with your families today!

We don't celebrate a *Thanks Giving* here in South Africa and after reading all those menus last night and this morning I'm REALLY looking forward to my Christmas lunch- hahahaha. YEAH, that's when we make a BIG *eat till you pop* meal for tons of family and a few dear friends who don't have family close by.

EYE CANDY and lots of it-lol

Well I got the new kit finished yesterday- and that's the reason I didn't get to blog- Oh goodness for ONCE on this kit- it was flowing- LOL, so I went with it and didn't stop until it was done! I'm thrilled how it eventually turned out- and of COURSE Mrs Bunny Wunny has to take some credit for kicking my ass in gear with her REQUEST list and to get drawing - LOL. THANK YOU BUNNY WUNNY! ;-P.

But before I get to that part- if you happened to get to the store today and it was down- ARRGHH, damb hosts- always something else- but it's sorted with a compromise for now- no gallery! so please be patient while Bunny bends the ear of the person on the other end of the phone- but the store is UP and running again!

Don't tell Bunny- but I thought I broke it again- BWAHAHAHAHA, SWEAR- I had just upped my new kit to the store and had gone to get the link when the screen went BLANK with a CPU usage thing message on it- HUH?- can you say PANIC! lol, I've already been warned not to TOUCH THE BUTTONS- now the stores gone! hahahahahaha- THANK GOODNESS it ain't me this time!

So I took some time to walk around my blooming garden ( sounds like I'm swearing doesn't it- LOL) But EVERYTHING is starting to flower and it looks so fresh and bright- I redid our garden so it's still in the *growing stages* but it's looking soooo KEWWWL with all the flowers popping up- and Mrs Miles I took these just for you ( oh and of course me ;-)- so you could see in pictures what they look like-

DAY LILLY's that my dad has come and planted in my garden- that deep red is just DIVINE! the flower only lasts a day- but they are really flowering well now-

A Strelitzia reginae- which are indigenous to South Africa. Common names include  Crane Flower or Bird of Paradise as it grows on a long stem and it looks like a birds head between the thick foliage.

These are Wild irises that are supposed to only flower in Spring- and I LOVE THEM- but they bloom ALL YEAR here and I even have a few flowers in the winter ;-)

Well I started with ONE- then thought that the other colours looked so cool so did 4! hahaha- And I did it in the sticker and plain versions to match the kits doodles too ;-)

HELP my mouth is still numb and I'm STARVING- lol. Went to the dentist at 10am and now it's 12.30 and my stomach is growling- hahahahaha. Another filling down- YIPPPEEEE, I can't wait till all the metal ones are gone. It's so funny how when I asked for white fillings years ago I was laughed at my by older dentist- he asked WHY?- UHUM- maybe because when you LAUGH like me you get a mouth full of -gee I don't know- BLACK???- hahahahahaha. But only a few left now and nearly there- OMG, did I actually sound like I was excited to see a DENTIST??- BWAHAHAHAHA, miracles do happen!

I spent a wonderful weekend off the net this weekend- yes I popped on to see that nothing had fallen apart in my mail box- but spent most of my weekend with my family and friends -yeah had a slight UNPLANNED hangover of Sat morning-Told you Summer Fever has hit and everyone wants cocktails on the beachfront watching the sun go down! Which was AWESOME- hangover was taken in stride- LOL. Spent Sat at the beach with Wayne and Nathan and watching rugby- WOOOHOOO- GO BOKKE! We WHIPPED ENGLANDS ASS! lol, and yesterday sat DRAWING with a PENCIL and paper! Oh I loved it! And now they are all ready to be worked today. So I'm going to stop yakking now- I need FOOD as well as to get creating ( yeah fingers are itching- hahahah)

Sunshiny day

PHEW_ rain all week and now SUN- makes for a HOT HOT HOT and MUGGGGGGGY day- lol. Talk about tropical, feels like I'm in Durban today! Mel how the hell do you stand the Humidity girl???. lol. But my washing is out on the line, the lawn is being mowed- the birds and butterfly's are out- WOOOHHHHHHOOOOOOO it's SUMMER BABY, it's SUMMER! Love the smell of the fresh cut lawn- reminds me of being a little girl running after my dad while he mowed the lawn- usually with watermelon or peach juice running down my chin-lol. I think it has to be on top of my favourite list of SMELLS- that and the smell of fresh summer rain just as it starts to come down- FRESH and clean!  hee hee, can you see I'm psyched for summer? We are slowly moving towards our Summer holiday break which is usually over the whole festive season. And everyone is starting to feel that *Festive spirit* and it's contagious! YIPPPEEEE.

Ok, yesterday must have been one of the most frustrating I have had as a designer-LOL, I was trying to change a kit I had half done (uhum -JENNI- BWAHAHAHAHAH)- but landed up DELETING more than I was keeping! I swear I was ready to throw it and mentioned it to Bunny Wunny- she said send screen cap of what you got - HAHAHAHAHA, well I got this LIST back of _ OOOh how about this and I WANT this and how about something like that and GET OFF YOUR ASS and draw- BWAHAHAHAHAHAH! WOOHOO- So now I'm drawing my ass off here and I know I need to be off the computer to do it- so this will be the last ( yeah so says SHE-hee hee) pop on until I FINISH what I started- But honest, if you are STUCK and need to get out a *mind rut*- ASK A FRIEND- it usually gets you going again! Thanks Girlfriend!
