Traditionally Festive : Designers For Peace : Freebies

Well this is my last blog post for this year.. holey cow the time has flown. Can’t quite believe it’s already mid Dec! I’m leaving on a jet plane ( hahaha, yeah singing in my head) on Sunday and at the moment so antsy, as I just want to get there. My boy will be picking me up from the airport and I will have a few days staying in his house ( hee hee, payback time right?) before we take the trip out to our holiday cottage for the Christmas holidays. As usual our whole family comes together to fill the holiday house to its seams.. crazy, busy and a little nuts(ok maybe a lot nuts).. but oh I wouldn’t swop it for all the money in the world!

So hang in here with me as I have a ton of goodies to show you and a really exciting ‘collaboration’ by some amazing designers who got together to make their ‘stamp’ and feeling known for world peace and to help all those children who get affected by war.

*************** Designers United for Peace ****************

32 fantastic designers throughout the digital scrapbooking industry have joined together to create this HUGE collaborative set with all proceeds going to the amazing foundation War Child.

No child or any person - should have to be part of any war. We hope you all support our goal and help us contribute to this awesome foundation called War Child. Try to make the world a little bit better, because change starts with each of us.

Be Brave : $1 Penny saver deals

OH MY GOLLY GOSH... seems like I've been stuck in my pc forever...bleh. Just when you think everything is working out more shit hits the fan right? Seriously as my dear friend Jenni says.. so over 2015 already. BWAHAHAHA. As you all know this year started with my poor dog in hospital for 'tick bite fever'.. then my laptop and camera were stolen. Wayne lands up being bitten by a spider last week and it just isn't healing properly.. hell the doc has now threatened to put him in hospital if it's not right by tomorrow.

And I go blab my big mouth off saying.. well it isn't sooo bad about my Laptop being stolen as it was my backup PC... mmmmphfff... I knew I should have touched wood at least once. lol. My words were not even 'dry' yet when I started getting those annoying 'error' messages on my main DT designing PC.. then Photoshop kept crashing.. more errors. YIKES... can you feel the sweat that was rolling off my forehead?? lol

So you automatically think.. EEEEP VIRUS. Run every recommended malware, trojan, virus and adaware programs... nothing.... really??? Ok, what now??? Deon, my dear old PC fixer doesn't live near or with us anymore.. so hello GOOGLE on the old 'donkey' laptop Wayne brought home from work while I wait for insurance to pay out... lol

I ran a repair install first..(recommended via Mr Google.. lol).... yay everything seems to work again after that!! Well ok, for only a few hours then the screen went black and my PC died a sudden death! OMG, I was sooo thankful I had made a major backup beginning of January. So I only lost a few days worth of goodies. Long story short. REFORMAT! SCARY stuff for someone who has never done it before... but I DID IT! And to be honest, everything is running so fast and smooth I wish I had done it last year already when I started getting hic cups. And when I don't have my plate so full.. ;-P

And so is life right?? But sheeee's can we at least spread the shit over a few months please?? BWAHAHAHAHAHA

NEW : Delightful + CU + freebie

OH EM GEE... getting old seriously sucks when it comes to recovering from party's these days.. lol. It's taken me almost all week to recover from our 30th School reunion.. I only got my voice back yesterday too. 3 long nights/early mornings in a row just isn't so easy anymore- BWAHAHAH. Well ok at the time we sure felt like we were all 18 again ;-P. A bunch of recycled teens for sure.

Our 1984 Matric class ( and that's me right in front where I usually landed up in all class photo's due to being a short @ss! LOL)

Yup that's me in the middle ;-P

Still the big mouth..that hasn't changed one bit either- OY! lol

2014.. and still in the front- BWAHAHAHA. A lot of people had left already when this was taken which is sort of sad.. but we were having too much fun yakking that photo's were forgotten.

We've had the biggest reunion turn outs out of all the other 'years' at the school and just pick up where we all left off each time we meet up. Now it just takes a little longer to recover - hee hee.
