I won, and we won..lol

What a weekend! For one that "was" planned to be quiet, it never landed up like that...LOL, Hubby and I decided to go to our "local Casino" for a quiet evening(which we do about once a month)- and well I landed up winning a bit of "loot"- hahaha, I did, I tell you- and of course it was a couple of glasses of wine to celebrate and our friends kept phoning to find out where we were hiding..(lol). Oh to cut the story short- we felt really "brave" after the few glasses and landed up joining a bunch of nearly 15 people at a pup.. and well you know how long it takes as you get older for the "after effects" to wear off!! LOL. But we had a great time, and it's always the "unplanned" ones that seem to be the most fun! To top it all we won the rugby again but this time I watched it "quietly" at home...LOL. One night in the weekend is enough for me!

A bit of news from DSO
- this Monday, June 11 at 6:00 pm Pacific time, is our nextScrap N' Chat at DSO. Join us in the chat room, but remember you do need to register ahead of time, if you aren't a registered member already. You'll get a free template to work with during the chat. If you complete a layout using the template (with any kit) and upload to the DSO gallerywithin 24 hours, you get a FREE posting bonus! Here's a preview of theposting bonus:

Go give it a go and while you there browse around- Remember too that when you register you will receive the Welcome Wagon kit too! Post a LO using just 3 items from the Welcome Wagon kt and you will recieve the Mega Welcome kit too. You can't loose on this one!

I'm soooo glad you all liked the Sweet Belle kit- Someone mentioned maybe I'm too generous- but it's just "me" , because you have all supported me in "my designing" and goodness if it wasn't for people like you and Melinda who download and "buy" my stuff I wouldn't be here doing what I love best!...LOL, so it's my "little way" of just saying "Thank you".. Jill here is the "non cardboard" cluster- I used a postcard so that it could be used as a "journaling block" too- I think it makes a nice addition- and I added some "swirls" to match the kit- http://www.4shared.com/file/17670584/f5f10f92/SweetBelle_Swirls.html SOOOO where are the "blonde" LO's...LOL LOL, Thanks for all the "giggles"!!! I look at the LO from Friday and I "cringe" at how rediculous it looks! hahahahaha, but sooo appropriate- I promise I won't put any of them on my blog if you tell me not too...hahahaha! Well got to run as my DS is writting exams and is finishing school early today- don't know who is stressing more- him or me...hahaha. Have a wonderful day, hugs and Loves. Kim

It looks like you have a great weekend, with the winning in the Casino and the rugby. :) It's nice to have that kind of fun and have a good weekend. I hope that by now you feel better and not so tired from the weekend. :)

Unfortunately do not tend to remember my blonde moments, some of them are embarrassing enough to forget them quickly.;)

Best of luck to your son in his exams and thanks a million for the cluster, is really beautiful:)

Best wishes. :o)

These kits are such a loving idea. I have done lots of knitting projects for premies, and have seen patterns but would feel too sad to knit burial gown/shrouds for stillborns. Would it be OK if I were to make some quick pages out of some of the freebie kits and also some from a few of the other colored ones I was going to pick up at your store to donate to my local hospital for them to either add a picture or the crib card or something like that for the nurses to give to the parents as a keepsake of sorts for comfort measures? I would add your copyright and site address somewhere not too intrusive on the back. My aunt had a very late miscarriage, if you can still call it that at almost 6 months pregnant, and she of course had to go through labor and delivery without the happy ending. It was esp. hard b/c my uncle is an OB/GYN so they doubted themselves a lot. They would have loved to have honored their angel that way, and if it is OK with you I'd like to offer that comfort to others. Let me know either on my blog or email me at phreephorm at yahoo dot com. Sorry this is such a long message :)

I've been gone playing with the family all day today, so it's 1:30 AM and I'm off to bed. But, Kim....I just need to add the finishing touches to Belle's first LO! I'll be sure and send it to you.
