New Look

AND?? What do you think?? LOL- I just couldn't resist using my little "angel with horns" and well I decided that my blog needed a little "lift"- hee hee. How was everyones weekend? I had a ball (of course!!) but had a "jungle mouth" that took until yesterday to get rid off!! I'm telling you the dog and the cat and the canary that were in there just wouldn't leave until late yesterday afternoon! ROTF! Nathan arrived home last night looking rather worse for wear too- hahaha- It was -11C the last night and the shower that they all shared has run out of hot water by the time it was his turn to shower- so NO problem to my son he decides to walk from house to house in the area begging for a hot shower!!! I tell you-ROTF!! Oh my, I think I have a little mini me by my side!! He said that the first few houses thought he was nuts and then this old lady took pity on him and let him have a hot shower! I was told " I did clean up Mom and made sure there was no water on the floor and I did thank her very nicely"- hahahaha, Well at least he was polite! LOL. Don't forget that ALL my overlays are still on SALE at the moment at 25% off- These are just two of them that you can play with and remember to check out the tutorials on how to use them at Scrap your Art out. Try these fibre ones to change your paper to linens, hessian and carpet like looks! How great for heritage pages! And I'm giving you the one I used in your Freebie on Friday- Yup-LOL, so you can play with it and see what fun they are to use.
I will be adding another Tutorial this week on overlays, so keep an "eye open" for other ways to use them (yup- there's a lot of other yummy things you can do with them-LOL). This is a 12x12 PNG file. http://www.4shared.com/file/19974754/6dd0fb6e/Shabby_elegance-Overlay.html Until tomorrow- OOOOHHH Before I forget- PLEASE make sure you have all your Freebies from June- I have to make space at 4shared( and quick-LOL) So I will start removing them tomorrow. Hugs and Loves Kim

Oh my gosh! Your son has me rofl. I don't know what I'd do if a kid showed up at my door asking for a shower. But now, after reading your story, I think I'd have to let him.

Thanks so much for the overlay. It's so pretty.

We can realy say proudly South African :-) That's a son after my heart.

Love the new banner. You should have shouted for the png file.

The wheels fell off the bus this weekend. Went to a babyshower for a dad this weekend. It was hysterical. Men have no clue when it comes to baby goodies.

Thanks for another great overlay. I'll mail you something I did with the flutters overlays.

Thank you so much for the great overlay! I was playing with them this weekend and omg, what fun! I also had to clean up my hard drive. I now have a folder for all your beautiful work!!! I did log on yesterday and did download a couple more that I could not find and made sure I had the previews. I thought I was organized and had things in folders by what they were. But I found when I went to look for them it was taking forever. I read that someone made a folder for the previews which she labeled with the folder it was in. That is working so much better!!! So thank you very, very much!!!! BettyJoR

The new look of the blog is fantastic. And the blinkie with the horns appearing and disappearing is great LOL

Your son's story is hilarious, I don't think after anyone is going to have a doubt of where he got that from ;)

About the weekend, we seem to have imported some nice winter weather from the South hemisphere, as it's raining so much around here sometimes it looks we have the Great Flood in action. Occasionally we get some sun to remind us that is summer, supposedly. Glad that you had a good weekend. :)

The overlay is fantastic and any tutorials in that area are always welcome. They will really help to spice up any layout.:)

Thanks so much for the overlay and best wishes. :O)

That is so funny about your son. It sounds just like something my nephew would do. He keeps us laughing all the time.

The overlays are gorgeous. I have never used one. I can't wait to try the tutorial on using them and I look forward to more tuts.

You are the one designer whose work I love every time I look at your blog. I love each and every thing you make. You are so talented. Thank you very much for sharing.
