BOO- I'm here

LOL- Did you think I went MIA yesterday???- Well I sort of did- LOL, we had a public holiday- Heritage Day- so I spent it with my Hubby- and as usual I ate and drank toooo much-hahahaha. My poor son had to be at school by 5.30am on Sunday morning too- (hee hee- that one was hubby's job-LOL)- I don't think I would have made it out of bed by then- let alone try and focus enough to drive!- hahahahaha- I'm TERRIBLE in the mornings- I HAVE to have at least 2 cups of coffee before I can even make sense of what I'm saying or thinking- hahaha. Takes at least 30min to 'wake up' the 'dead'- LOL!!! Poor DS is just the same! We have NO problem staying up till 5am- but hell- Don't wake us at 5am- ROTF!!! Hubby is the opposite- he'll be asleep on the couch by 8pm (if you let him-hee hee) and up with the sparrows- so we 'tandum' well-hahaha- He does the morning routine and I do the night shift.

I've had a wonderful day too- first off with a HUGE thank you to Mrs Miles who so kindly awarded me with this "smile" award!!! Barb-I'm truely honoured!! Check out Mrs Miles blog for a AWESOME heart doodle and brush freebie!!

the thing that I love most about blogging is that I learn so much about a person just by reading their blog. I have met MANY wonderful people with wonderful stories to tell, and I am grateful every day for each person that I have the pleasure of crossing paths in life with. I wanted to create something special for the people who have inspired me through their blogging; the stories they tell, and the lives that they lead with grace and dignity. I visit their blogs for inspiration and encouragement. Although there are MANY people I want to give this award to at this very moment, I am going to choose a couple bloggers: Please grab your badge and wear it (with a smile) proudly, and pass it on because you inspire and encourage me, thank you".

I'm going to give my "Smile Award" to a blogger over the next 4 days(one a day) - LOL. And todays Blogger is Kristine!!- This is one chicky that makes ME not only smile but ROTF with laughter - and I mean ROTF- she has me in stitches everytime I read her blog- she cheers me up when I'm having a bad day( yup I do have them-LOL) and I love her " I am me if you like it or not" attitude! Kristine- THANK YOU for ALWAYS making me 'smile'!!!

And second- I've just got back from Andrew my WONDERFUL hairdresser!- I've been growing my hair as you know- well it was longish- and FLAT!!! Yuck- no life or spunk- and I didn't like it-(nor did two very honest friends)- and hubby this morning also just 'topped the cake' by saying that it didn't suit me- it's too classical and lady like- LIKE DUH???- I'm not a lady???- ROTF- but I knew what he meant- so it's OFF and I LOVE IT!!!! We kept the frindge long for a change and I HAVE PURPLE HAIR TOO- hahahahahahaha Ok just the bottom is a deep purple red and I AM LOVING IT!!- wanna see-

At least we has some hair to play with this time- hahahaha, but at least I can do it up or mess it up and I feel happy!!! YAY!- in the LO underneath you will see the "longer version"- hee hee.

This is my friends and I out at Cocktail Bar for a 'launch'- I loved the fun in the photo's and had to scrap them- LOL- So I made you a freebie kit from the papers etc that I used to scrap this one. ( ok you can't see the hair so well- but I always seem to have my mouth open so at least you can see my tonsils!!!-LOL)

Great minikit - thanks for sharing with us! Love the hair - I'm the opposite though - mine's almost to my waist and no extra colors... I'm not "spunky" enough to do anything too dramatic. :)

Hello. Don't cut that hair any shorter, your horns are going to stick out. LOL.

Thanks for a lovely little kit. I looooove those ribbons.

Your hair looks darling. I thought the reason you hadn't posted was because you were in mourning over the cricket match! I live in Texas and when the Cowboys lose lots of folks go into deep depression! LOL

Kim I d/l your lucious element - I'm going to build me SOMETHING out of it as soons as I get a moment to breathe. Your hair looks so cool - having blonde allows you to be a bit dramatic, no? In my hair it would merely appear as if I dipped my hair in the kooliad by accident! Besides my hairdresser does not do all that exciting stuff (ha, thats b/c its ME) I have'nt been to an official one for over 5 yrs... seeings as I have a pretty plain style. Whoever your hairD is, they have created the perfect cut for you - and that takes talent. Honestly, I think I could have been a hairdresser if I were not so timid (always imagine I would be the one to turn someone's hair green by accident or burn it...) I watch the news and 'cut and style' the announcers mentally. K, so thats wierd but sometimes the news is awful boring?

catchya SA Chickie!

I'm with Renee on this one, don't cut it too short or else your little horns would appear before Friday. LOL But now that I think perhaps that's the reason your husband likes it short LOL

About the waking up, I'm like you and your son, I need at least a couple of coffee mugs to start thinking something beyond, "ughhhh, mmmhhh, etc". Complex words like yes or no are to difficult to utter early in the morning. LOL

The layout is terrific you like a fun bunch in those photos, the the mini you've created for them is wonderful, really beautiful. Thanks so much for it :)

I hope you had a great time yesterday with hubby and best wishes. :O)
