Scary morning-LOL

OH MY WORD guys- did I craparoo in my pants this morning!!! ( I tried to put that as nice as possable- ROTF)- I sat at the computer this morning and started sorting out my mail and typing a letter to all my CT members- when KAPOW- the lights dipped, went off and then on in like a second flat!- My poor 'puter' went 'bye bye'-screen BLACK and nothing!!! YIKES- that's when I pooped- BIG TIME!! There was no lights on the 'box' either- WHAT, don't do this NOW- hahahaha- Went crawling under my desk in my PJ bottoms ( that have a hole in the arse-a small one I must add- but still a hole), and had to find the wall plug socket!! Now you don't want to see what is under this desk!!! hahahahaha WIRES and more WIRES- EVENTUALLY I get to the plug and turn it off and then back on again- NOW the next mission is to get back out from under this desk-Ducking wires and the desk itself!!!!- Thank Goodness there was no-one around- I think they would have laughed more than me!! hahahahaha. Well thank goodness I heard the 'beeps' as I turned the plug back on- I swear it was the greatest feeling seeing that little red light on my box!!!!-hahahaha. We had a power surge and half the city has no power! But I'm making back-ups quick time here I tell you! I was sweating people!!- I did the last back up about 3 weeks ago- but you must know how much work you can do in 3 weeks and how much you collect!!- Phew I would have been in DEEP Poofoo!!!

Today I have 2 more bloggers I'd like to nominate (last one tomorrow)-

Shannon- Girl I smile everytime I get to your blog! I think you are DSO's biggest advertiser! You 'pimp' all of us girls without ever being asked to do so!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that as well as ALWAYS making me laugh and smile through your comments that you leave on my blog EVERYDAY!! Thank you for all the encouragement and support.

Heather- My girl Heather, Oh what can I say- If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be doing this!- You make me laugh with you quick wit and your cute charm- but what I love the most is you willingness to 'share'- not only 'yourself' but what you think, read or hear! For standing up for those that need it and for always wanting to do the 'right thing'! I've had many a belly laugh over something YOU heard or read about and couldn't let it go.Thanks for being YOU Heather!

And it's Heathers AWESOME new kit- Dirt Don't Hurt that I used for this LO of Nathan at the Wild Coast Sun!

I love this kit of Heathers!!!! Check it out HERE
I also used my Wound and Bound kit for the raffia wrapping around the frames and page- and of course I made the freebie today from it too!
hee hee- Yeah you get the funny African man too! I loved these guys!!- They are HUGE and stand against the wall -looking like they are on gaurd!- I added 3 buttons and a wrapped frame too- http://www.4shared.com/file/25167184/565a9035/kb-mylittleafrican.html . Hope you can find some use for him- but I loved him so much I had to share him- hahaha. On another note- no change with Jazzy yet- she's out of ICU but still in hospital recovering- I'll let you all know the minute I have any other news. Enjoy the rest of your day- I'm off shopping- hahaha- Hugs and loves Kim

Oh Kim , you crack me up! I had a good chuckle at the craparoo in your brooks you almost made cos of the power going out! Geez, these power cut-outs here in South Africa are driving me up the wall! Thank goodness we seemed to have cut down on them. At one stage I was saving everything-emails and work like every 5 seconds terrified the power would go out every second and that I would loose everything! ha ha! Thanks for the laugh girl! Love the new hair do! To-die-for! you are quite the spunky chick hey? Bonnie

Ahem, sounds like someone could take to wearing 'Depends' a little early in life, while one is on the computer? Do you HAVE Depends in SA? If not, they are basically diapers for folks a tad older than you and I dear.

Oh MY, tho, I've had an experience like this to wake me up - the summer before last Miles and camped all summer long. Toward the end, one fine evening Miles went out to photo the amazing ocean sunset and I proceeded to set our little camper van up to be 'romance central'... well hey, its just a VW camper van, pretty cramped... I hung a sheer red cloth up over the cieling (for atmosphere) and then was attempting to hang a candle lantern, when suddenly, it slipped from my fingers, RIGHT ONTO MY LAPTOP computer, which it KILLED. I lost my entire summer's pics. Ugh. Real romance killer, I tell ya. Had to cut the vacation short and come home. It was either gas or computer... haha.

I'm so glad you got yours up and running!

hugses,
Barb

Aw Kim! You're gonna make me cry. I love you girl! I was all giggling at you crawling under your desk, then I get to the message to me, and I was like, aw...sniff sniff. I wanna move to South Africa. :o) Or, maybe you can move to Iowa??? LOL

Aww Kim - you totally made my day! Thanks so much for the kind words! :)
Sounds like your power is a lot like ours, maybe even worse! We call our provider El Paso Flicker and Spark due to it's "super reliability!"
Thanks for the QP! And I don't "pimp" you guys out - I merely put in a good word and some links when I find something I really like! Besides, DSO is one of the friendliest, if not the friendliest, group out there... :)

I must confess that I'm a bit like you on an everyday basis, I start doing something and I can adopt the weirdest posture while doing it, *redface* It's even worse when I'm in the supermarket and trying to get things from shelves not realising I am in a public place, I look a small child *veryredface*

Fortunately I do not suffered from those power cut-offs but surely if you're in the computer you will end up as freeze out as the computer if you have one. LOL

Congratulations to Shannon and Heather on being awarded the "You make me Smile Award"!!! :)

And it's fantastic news to know that even Jazz is still in hospital she is not longer in the ICU. :) Best wishes to her. :)

The layout is fantastic and those tribal paintings are terrific very beautiful. :) Thanks so much for the freebie and including one of the figures in it. :)

Best wishes.:O)

Oh that is soooo me. I am so glad bought me a ups. I love how it will safely shut down my computer by itself 30 minutes after the power goes off if I haven't done it myself. But I remember those "craparoo" days, LOL. And what a wonderful freebie. I think it will be perfect for some Hawaii pictures, don't you?

The african looks nice. Did you draw it on the wall? If not, I would be more careful to publish it, because someone else got the copyright and might sue you.
