Tut Tuesday

So glad you liked my "fishing' little mini- LOL, I showed it to hubby when he got home from work last night and you know the first thing he said!- *YUGH- you can't use that!* - I like look at him as though he has 20 heads-(because well I was really pleased how it came out-LOL ) and he say's and I quote- * My stomach looks bigger than the fish*!!!!! WHAT!! LOL- Wayne Wayne Wayne- it's the WHOLE LO you have to look at!!! ROTF!! My man is worse than a woman I tell you! hahahaha.

I have a brand new product in store ( after lots of begging from a CT member and a "co-designer"-LOL) called Zip Me Up!!

Very realistic ZIPPERS! There are 6 in total! 2 straight, 2 open and 2 folded! Each come in gold and steel teeth! The Zipper bases and the teeth are all in SEPARATE PNG files! Making it easy for recolouring! I have also included the 6 PSD files if you find those easier! It even comes with 4 BONUS zipper charms. ( in gold and steel). These are now available in my STORE at 25% off for ONE WEEK only.

My Brand new CT Member Beth sent me this LO yesterday - She used the Zip Me Up kit and my Pretty Twisted kit too! By the way this is the FIRST time Beth has used a zipper in a LO and I think she did a BRILLIANT JOB!!! You can see in this LO the texture of the base and the zipper pull- Thanks Beth! So grab them now while on SALE.

Now I know it's my day for a TUT- but time has really been short this week (I'm painting again-lol) So I am sending you to "STICK IT"- hahahaha-ROTF-- that didn't sound so good did it- But honestly this is the BRILLIANT TUTORIAL put up by Bunny yesterday(how to make your pins stick through papers/flowers etc REALISTICALLY)! I even learnt from it- as you can see from the "butterfly pin" through my name card!!! This was a challenge gift that I had made, but only gave it out a few times- so instead of it going to waste- I'm giving it as a freebie to you!! But you got to do the Tuesday Fetch! LOL- http://scrapyourartout.wordpress.com/2007/08/20/just-stick-it/ Hugs and Loves Kim

Hi Kim! Thanks for the visit - and your too kind words! You always give me a good laugh - I LOVED how in today's entry you said your DH had 20 heads... just trying to imagine - actually, you know, you COULD cut his head out, then paste it like 20 times, rotating it slighhhhtly each time, onto his neck, then he WOULD have 20... make a terrific layout idea LOL!!!

Um, I can totally identify, I am an artist (really) but I don't take critique well (its a learned art, I'm sure) - let me correct that, I don't take critique well FROM MY HUSBAND... he will give me his thoughts, I will grit my teeth and bear it, then I will go to my painter's group and they will say the EXACT same thing, but I will be able to handle it... something to do with proximity perhaps?

I'd better scoot - I look forward to visiting you soon!

PS - thanks for the neat elements etc!

Hi Kim,
I see that you came by my blog! Hunny, I wish I looked the same as I do when I was 2!!! ROTF. My hair was what stayed the same, well minus a few million gray hairs. LMBO!! You have to remember those are pics from the PAST!!!! Not what I look like now. LOL. I think every year I gain at least another 3 million gray hairs. ROTF. Thanks for stopping by and saying hi! I always love your sence of humor. Did you notice that my summer color burst kit, I used one of your CU floral overlays! Which are awesome by the way.
Hugs,
Angel

Why do you have "free" kits on digiscrapdepot.com if they arn't free?

Kim B said...

Hg- it would be nice if you would maybe tell me "which kit" is NOT FOR FREE- EVERY SINGLE ONE I have listed on digiscapdepot.com is a FREEBIE kit! I've just checked again- I do tutorials every tuesday and if you had read the post you would have noticed that the link to the download is there- ( I connect to this blog EVERY TUESDAY) if you didn't want to read the tutorial that I did- that is of course entirely up to you - the link would be at the bottom of the tutorial post as with every other post that I do. I felt really hurt by this comment as I give a lot of my stuff away for free - and if it means maybe reading a tutoral that took me a lot of my time to get it- I think that's fair? Don't you? It's to help people out there who would like to learn a little more about their craft and I do it from the heart. If you have a problem please rather e-mail me on kbroedelet-at-telkomsa-dot-net. Done like this for spammers.
