YAY YAY it FRIDAY

WOW- did this week FLY or WHAT?- It's already Friday!! LOL- but then again I think* back to school*, and designing just made this week whizz past without me even knowing it! And I think I have a boarder in my house ( well one that doesn't pay rent-LOL)- His name is Nathan!! I swear, my child just got back from being away for a month on Saturday night last week- and guess what- He's busy packing a bag now as I type this!- He's going on a canoe-ing trip with the school hiking club! ROTF!! I'm teasing him and asking him if I can rent his room out as he doesn't seem to live here- wahahaha. But I'm happy that he is such an *outdoors* boy! Most of his friends spend DAYS behind their computers playing games and don't even see the light of day! Nathan on the other hand is never in- he's swimming, playing cricket or golf or fishing or hiking etc etc etc! - much more healthier ( an um makes his mom feel guilty for sitting at HER PC- ROTF!) And this weekend is a STAY AT HOME weekend for *Darbie and Joan* -( um Wayne and I-LOL), Playing it safe and keeping myslef out of trouble- ROTFLMAO!

I finished my kit today ( the one I was sooo involved with yesterday) and I have to say that I am so happy how it came out- it's a very special kit ( it's a request kit) with a VERY special story behind it and I will share that all with you on Monday. Judi- I hope that I have forfilled your wishes and done Andrew justice.

I have two more LO's to show you with my Close Knit kit- 25% off till Sunday only- and don't forget to mail me for your brag book!

This one was done by Renee for the It's in the Numbers Challenge at DSO- Hosted by non other than Mindi- and she was sadistic this month- hahahahaha, 8 papers and 8 pics!! And look how well Renee did this one!! Go girl!

And another masterpiece from Beth! I just LOVE how she used the different papers in the kit for the leaves and grass! Great job girl! Journaling reads- "Some family trees have beautiful leaves, and some have just a bunch of nuts. Remember, it is the nuts that make the tree worth shaking." Butterfly's recoloured- freebie by Pillowgirl.

And I don't know if you remember not so long ago- My CT got to choose a kit they liked to RAK people with in the forums- well Renee being a South African- chose the one closest to her heart *African Sunsets*- It's a sentimental kit to me too as it was the first one I ever made- So I added a few extra's to it for the RAK-

We were sent this as a THANK YOU! And WOW it's just GORGEOUS!! I also used the add-on in Nathans haircut LO in Wednesdays post- So instead of sticking it straight into the store- I'm going to give it away as a freebie to you- but only till WEDNESDAY next week ( then it will go to the bargain bin at DSO)- These are all Patterned papers as the plains are in the original African Sunsets kit in my store.

I really love the weathered steel elements in this kit-LOL, I hope you will enjoy this one too- Remember Renee's Alpha from Wednesday's post matches this kit too! http://www.4shared.com/file/35183981/d4db1caa/kb-Africansunsets-addon.html WOOOHOOO- so you have 2 AFRICAN pressy's this week- LOL. Well I had better get this *toosh* of this computer chair and get Nathan back to school for his trip- Hope you all have a WONDERFUL weekend- and for those that are having snow- keep warm and for the rest of us- Have fun in the sun- LOL. Hugs and Loves Kim

I wanted to say a couple of things for a long time. First of all, you are a great designer and very talented, I appreciate your freebies and wanted to thank you for them. Second, I enjoy reading your blog. I think I would enjoy it more if you didn't over use the rotf, or wahahaha, or rotflmao, it is so annoying when you do. I don't want to be mean but I'm starting to skip reading because of this. You are a nice and funny lady, you don't have to include this every other line, we get it and we enjoy without these. Anyway, I appreciate you, I really do.

WOW.
lol...

I just wanted to say I LOVE to read your blog Kim, even WITH all the rotf and hahahas. They let us know your laughing as you type. Its part of your fun personality, and thats why most people READ your blog.

I don't know how you do it Kim! First you mention that you get complaints about Freebies, and NOW a complaint because you're frickin HAPPY????? WTF?! I LOVE to come here and read because of the way you type! It makes me feel just like I'm chatting with a friend, because like it or not I'm always belly laughing or snorting LOUDLY! I'm sorry you have people that don't know how to understand that this is YOUR blog and you can do and say whatever the Hell you want...it's a bunch of crap and I think it sucks. I can't believe even when people are nothing but nice and happy they still get picked at...THAT is what I find ANNOYING! Thank you for todays freebie, I love the colors in this kit and have wanted it for a long time! I'm definately snatching up the add-on! Have a good weekend and I hope you ROFLYAO, WAHAHAHAHAH, and ROTF as much as you possibly can!

BIG BIG HUGS,
Jeannette

Look forward to reading your blog! and hey, the freebies are VERY NICE too! (new to digital scrapping sooo it is taking me a while to figure out what all of the letters mean, but heck that's part of the fun!!!)

I agree with anonymous about the letters you use in your blog. I do not know what those letters mean so your blog looses its meaning as I have to skip a lot. I do understand what hahaha means, thats all. Guess being from Canada I loose something in the translation. Sorry.

Anonymous said...

I'm with the other anonymous'all of the repetitive rotfl kind of looses meaning. Are you really rolling on the floor laughing all the time? If so how do you get anything done? See what I mean, it looses something. I understand you being sweet and funny, I'm sure you are, no one is taking that from you. It's just reading it every entry, I don't know and I'm not from Canada.

I particularly don't mind things like ROTFL as I overuse emoticons in all my messages in Internet. LOL Occasionally I overuse acronyms LOL ;) So my advice to people would be, if they don't understand they should check this website and look for the acronym and also try to understand the fun of using them LOL

Netlingo The Internet Dictionary

You don't see the face of the person writing the blog and it's very difficult to see whether they are laughing or smiling, so all that helps to provide an image to all that written text.

Sorry for being so serious suddenly, in a lighter tone, Beth's layout is terrific. Actually I think it's great and I should look whether there's a template for it or she should consider doing a template, because the layout is awesome. :) Thanks so much for sharing all them with us. And thanks a million for the add-on to African Sunsets, it's fantastic and would be great with Thursday's alpha by Renee.

I hope you're having a fantastic weekend and best wishes. :O)

Wowzers those papers are magnificent!!! And I especially LOVE the frames and those cute little burlap knots too!!! What a spectacular addition, thank you ever so much!

Thank you, too, for sharing those fabulous layouts. I would also love to know if Beth's tree is a template, or if not, whether she might be interested in making it available as a QP. It is absolutely the best one I've ever seen!

And as to what I just read here... heh... well, you already know how I feel about that!!! hehe Quack.

I'm finally caught up with your blog, yay! It took all day cuz you had so many great links to other blogs that I'd never been to yet. So I had a marvelous time perusing new wonderful places, and all thanks to you!!!

Your African kit is gorgeous, Kim and I can't wait to see the kit you where talking about.

This is the first time I've looked at this blog, so I don't have a clue what ANY of it is about, and being an "oldie-but-goodie" (age 60)without text messaging or a picture phone, ( just a plain old cell phone), I guess I'll have to go to Netlingo.com as Olga9999 has suggested! BUT I AM AN ADDICTED DIGI-SCRAPPER!!!.I'm so sorry about starting the last sentence with a preposition.

Wow - I can't believe people complain about something they don't even have to read. LOL, ROTFL...anyone who is going to spend time on the internet will see them sooner or later so they'd better learn what they mean. And for the record...I'm from Canada and I get it all. Canadians don't live under rocks...we're no different than our American neighbours (well except we spell neighbours with a "u"....ROTFL). See...I use them all too! Keep up the good work Kim...you have many appreciative people behind you!

WOW! I had to pop over here and see what exactly Bunny was referring to on her blog .. and omg ... the audacity of some people! The best part is they were too ashamed of themselves to even leave their name ... tsk tsk!
