a little more Me

HAHAHA- well my blog heading description does say " a little bit about me and a lot of what I love"- ???- LOL- so you've had a bit more of me the last few days- LOL. Thanks so much for the compliments on my "Junk Room"- I'm really thrilled with it and at this stage am looking at the bathroom now too- (hee hee, much to Wayne's despair!)- he's moaning he just got used to it!!! But it's in Blues and browns which match Nathans room and seeing that we are changing that one too- well I thought it would be fine to match the spare room as the door is directly opposite the bathroom-KWIM!! LOL_ YOU DO???- YAY, see I have back-up Waynie!

Amber- You asked how I landed up in South Africa- Girl, I was BORN and BRED here- still in the same City I was born in- have lived in Argentina for just short of two years, but that's it- I'm a SOUTH AFRICAN through and through-and proudly so too. LOL. Tropical Storm Jenessa - ROTFLMAO- now girl there is nothing so strange about that dream, it's probably what would have happened- WAHAHAHAHAHA! I've made MANY a friend out of just such a *deal* ( maybe not my car- but other goodies LOL). -TNChick- that LO is just BEAUTIFUL!! I LOVED it- couldn't leave you love there so doing it now! babepink35 I couldn't get hold of you as you didn't leave me a link or mail addy- don't you want to e-mail me- it's in my profile;-).

Just a huge thank you for your story's too on 4shared- I miss them here on the blog but understand that not everyone has accounts with blogger- but just to let you know I READ THEM ALL!! hee hee, and I giggle through a TON of them! (((HUGS))))

I've just finished my new kit- NANCY you listening girl!!! IT's DONE!! WOOOHOOOOOOO- I'm doing the previews and just a few extras ( oh I just never think it's done!!!- WAHAHAHA) But you all always benefit with the extras so it's a GOOD thing!- Want a little * sneaky peaky*???- just a glimpse-LOL

glimpse

Too be honest this was one I have had ON GOING since last year-LOL. And I eventually had to make myself say WOOOAH- it's finished! But I'll be sharing more of it over the next few days- YIPPPEEEE>

And I had a request from Elaine for some cluster frames (4 to 7) , so I decided to show you how I've done up MY BEDROOM- You guys are really getting a peak into my house now- remember this was an OLD house that I have bashed up and redone- so it's been a slow process and it's just soooo excting when the rooms get finished enough to start decorating- I added pics of the MES-bathroom that we have JUST finished ( it still needs a few things but it's acceptable to me-hahaha)

room

Now you know why I have a thing for orange and burgundy- LOL. It's so HOME here, The walls are painted in a textured paint that feels rough- like clay, and the bathroom has sand stone tiles on the walls and in the shower- the curtain tie backs have a red gem bling thing with beads hanging from the bottom too- I used a piece of the duvet on the background ( it's felt with handstitched accents). I used my Weathered Frames that I have available in my store and made up this cluster frame for you to use-

framescluster

Now you can also do a multi pic LO with ease- http://www.4shared.com/file/40668533/fdf2724f/kb-multiframes.html. OOH Renee- I got the green duvet from Home Zone, cushions from Boardmans, throw from Boardmans too- LOL. I buy all over the place as long as it takes my fancy- hahahahaha. Until tomorrow- hugs and Loves Kim

Wow Kim, I SO enjoyed the peak into your home. :) You have excellent designing taste and the rooms you showed here look so inviting. That's the whole key to decorating anyway, IMO. :)

And it's so interesting to see how things look in other places. The 'sink' is definitely different from what I'm used to seeing here in the states. Yours looks like a bowl with an unusual water spigot that pours into it. Does the bowl have a drain in it? Or do you pick it up and dump it out? Not to be dumb, lol but I've just never seen that before.

Your lifestyle or taste determines what the focal point of your living area is. If you have a fireplace, you can rearrange your furniture around it. Or if you have a piano, and this is the focal point of your living area, your furniture could be set around it. When rearranging your furniture, also consider traffic in your Living Room Decoration area. It is always good to arrange furniture in off-square angles. This makes the room warmer and more casual. http://living-room-decoration.blogspot.com
