Looks kind of cool- hahaha. And for the Chinese this is a very lucky day! 8 being a very lucky number for them. I think today they also have that mass wedding ceremony as well. Don't know if I'd like to have been married in one HUGE crowd-lol, what about the bride being the centre of attraction thing? no thanks- LOL.

AWWW I went missing yesterday- I didn't sleep well at ALL on Wednesday night and was tired as anything yesterday- so watched DVD's the whole afternoon with Nathan- we closed the curtains- got the blankets, made pop corn, got the sweeties for after the salt-lol. And just sat the whole afternoon- I LOVED IT! He was so thrilled his mom took off from the computer to come and spend the afternoon with him. But must admit- I think I watched my months DVD quota in one sitting- hahahaha, I hardly watch TV as I get bored! And would rather read, draw or play on the computer -lol. So it's not often that I sit in the lounge with the boys *just watching crap*- KWIM?- so it was special yesterday. I LOVED 10 000BC which Nathan said I would enjoy ( he knows me WELL- lol) it reminded me of the books I read when I was at school- The clan of the Cave Bear Series.

Then I did a little scrapping in the evening too-

This is my dear Friend Lynnie- we have been friends for over 22 years! ( Deon, Lynne and I studied together)- Lynne married one of Wayne's friends from school too- so we have always been close-(even lived in Argentina together!)- She moved to Canada just over two years ago- but when we yak on the phone it's like she was here the day before- LOL. Horrid for the phone bills- and we will say goodbye and actually phone back a few seconds later because we forgot to tell something else! This photo was taken on a holiday weekend and we were scrounging in the fruit salad bowl- * one for you, one for me with the spoon*- LOL, MISS YA LYNNIE!

I used Bonnies new CUTE kit called Forever Friends

It's available in her store HERE and you can check her blog out for a freebie QP too.

AHH and Jazzy sent me this too-

Using her word art  and my Just Because kit-

The word art is part of a posting gift in Jazzy's DSO CHALLENGE- the photo Op! It's soooo COOL! I did this LO for it as a Birthday Card to Brandon- Bunny's son.

You can read what I did with it in the Challenge thread.

I used my JUST BECAUSE kit and a freebie template by Colleen Brady. Word art was a blog party freebie from Sugarplum Paperie.

hee hee- and I did another one too-

I find if I'm feeling a little LOW or tired or the *creating mojo* is low that scrapping is my therapy- it just lifts me and I always feel good afterwards.

My little sister Kerry and I, I'm slowly getting all these photo's scrapped! YAY! I used the Just Because kit as the colours just matched so well- and used the QP I made the other day as the matching page! So I thought I would leave you this one- because if you are anything like me- I like my pages to match on either side- LOL.

YOu can grab it here- . And oh this weekend is going to be a LONG one- hahaha. With Wayne not here it's really going to be a bit wierd! And Mrs Miles- I so agree with what you say- Wayne is my *other half* and sort of feel like I'm missing some limbs when he isn't here- LOL. DEON if you are reading this- *don't you need to VISIT PE this weekend???- and while you at it- bring Loryn with you! BWAHAHAHAHAHA- I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Hugs and Loves Kim

I know, sometimes it is so good to just leave the pc off and spend some time in the real world! lol! I must say, ever three days or so I don't even turn on the computer and just do stuff around the house or watch TV. I also don't have the attention span to watch too much TV. I switch it on to watch my set programs eg Survivor, Chuck, Top Design and then I have had enough. The movie marathon sounds fun, haven't done that in ages!!Have a good weekend Kim and thanks for linking me!

Oh the mass wedding thing - nah, no smorg type thing for this girl, I'm selfish supreme when it comes to me and my man.

Oh - I could go for a good swak of movie watching myselfs too! I've been taking some dvd's out from our local library - they are British ones, Jeeves and Wooster - a tv series I think and we are rationing them out... one episode after a whole day of sitting and getting 'computer bumm'

Love your layout - and imagine - 22 yrs, zikes! Is there such a thing as Friend's anniversaries? I think there SHOULD be, hay?

What a SWEET kit - holdin' handses kinda fun kit. Loves it!

Jazzy's layout is SO TRUE! And teens KNOW everything. haha!

What a stunning job you did of Bunny's Brandon! Wowzers, that ones framable.

Ok the one of you and Kerry - that just Rocks! perfect perfect! hmmm, you're kinda laying around in your profile pic too... do you get vertical for some photos?

Now don't you go wastin' away, Sugah, while your man is gone. Its a GREAT time to create a few lil 'sprizes for him when he DOES come home, kwim? While the cats away the mice will... hide lingerie and notes, buy sweets and eats, write a poem, make dinner reservations ahead of time and leave a prezzie with the restaurant staff, plan up a 'theme night' for his return - complete with clothing and decorations...

Ok, nuff pestering you my Kimbee. I hope I distracted you for even a few of your pining moments.

{super big squishie}
Mr. Miles other limb *snort*
