WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! OMG, what a day for my nerves yesterday- lol. Once the appointed time for his test hit yesterday I couldn't sit still. I think I was more nervous than Nathan- lol. But after half and hour and no phone call, I knew things must be going OK. The longer it takes just means he is actually out there driving- KWIM? Wayne phoned me TWICE during that hour- saying that if Nathan failed he didn't think he could come home ,to see the disappointment on Nathans face and me crying would just kill him! BWWWWWAHAHAH
BUT- He passed!! He phoned me with such joy in his voice I wanted to cry!
The instructor couldn't stay with him while he stood in a mile long queue to get his license so I had to go down to fetch him ( took him 1 hour and 45 minutes in the queue alone!). OMG, can you say PROUD Mother!! He walked out the doors with the biggest grin I have seen on his face since Christmas last! lol He waved that slip of paper all the way to the car and didn't stop smiling and talking the whole way home!
HA_ but you know what that means don't you? - I have now lost my car! BWAHAHAHAHAH - we weren't home for 5 minutes and he was already in it and gallivanting to go brag to his friends! It's been booked already for Sunday to go fishing with friends- haha. Yup, looks like my TAXI duty's have come to an end- don't know if I'm happy or sad about that one yet ;-)

I remember so well the first time my younguns got their permit to drive by themselves.Makes a Mama proud as can be...and then nervous as a cat.LOL But you know you have raised them right when they become independent!!! :)

Hi! I must say I absolutely understand how you're feeling now, I went through that last year when my daughter passed her driving test. However, I'm more relaxed now as she proved to be a good driver. So I wish you all the best! Btw, the chair is really cute.

Girlie, I've just blogged for the first time in nearly three weeks and have been SOOOOO busy that I thought it had only been TWO! ROFL! And, we are NOT finished yet. Off tomorrow to meet the FIRST Posten girl, our granddaughter, who is nine months old and here in California with her mommy, daddy and big brother to visit! We are having a HUGE family get-together, so that means a few days out of commission! He, he .... LOL!
