New kit and hunting weekend

WOOHOOO- Thank you EN-verge for listening and coming out and sorting out my wireless internet connections. Morne your customer service has been awesome and here’s hoping I won’t have to phone again soon- lol

I have speed that I can live with now- not as fast as I have at home but not having a ADSL line I never expected too, but it’s at least good enough to open web pages without sitting for 10 minutes each time- YIPPPPPPPPPPPPE.

Oh my gosh, well I have been to more places and seen more wild life than I have ever done in my whole life since I have been here- which has been really really great ;-)

Wayne reminded me on Wednesday last week that we had to go on a Company Hunting trip- errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I’m going too???? Hell yeah, was his reply. But it’s all men going?? Well, you’re one of the boys so start packing your bags. hee hee, I DID! I had a blast with the guys from work and some customers too. The only woman between 7 men until Sat when Frans secretary drove out too. PHEW! lol

The farm is called KHALAMANZI (Zulu term for crying water) and is in Thabazimbi. It’s a game farm with tons of wild life ( Zebra, buck and even Giraffe) and owned by SNS (Frans) the company Wayne is working with on one their projects.

The 4wheelers outside were MY PLAY TOYS for the weekend- hee hee, (boys with rifles, Kim with wheels) and rode all over the place on them like a hooligan- WHEEEEEEE. I wanna go back ;-)

Friday evening taking a drive around the farm and having a social watching the sun set over the bush. That’s Frans(co-owner of farm) in the blue striped shirt and Gerrit (works for Wayne) in the Navy.

Of course non other than Deon, and what do they always say about the kids that always sit in the back of the bus???- BWHAHAHA

5Early Sat morning (still in PJ’s- and YES those were Waynes PJ’s- lol) and VERY hung over with the fire from the night before STILL burning- lol Hangovers blamed on me of course as Wayne *died* on the bed fully clothed at 1am and I stayed up yakking and drinking with the boys till I think around 2,30am- yeah OUCH-lol

3 a Buffalo that is part of a group that landed up behind the house in the morning.

10  This *gentleman* just strolled around our feet during the day. HIs partner was also with him.

That evening he actually jumped into a tree and up on top of the house roof- looked really regal up there ;-)

Gerrit and Phillip( the other owner of the farm) who did most if not ALL the cooking on the weekend ( I wasn’t allowed to do a thing except enjoy my weekend!) Thanks so much Phillip!

NIGHT RIDE!! Well a good excuse to drink-lol. You can see Phillip with one of the cooler boxes under his arm. I LOVED these on Friday and Saturday night. And yes that’s me at the back-lol  Looking for wild life at night is exciting and of course the comments from Deon behind me had me looking in the bush for a place to PEE! lol

I had a great time and even tho Wayne forgot my whole make-up bag at home, and I felt *bare* and undone, I loved it and would leave the bag at home myself next time- BWHAHAHAHA.

I have a new kit up, it’s something I made to use for some of Nathans *Beachy* photo’s I’ve had stashed for so long.
