Sad day and packed to go

Oh man, yesterday was a really sad day for me as I had to say “goodbye” to a really dear and good friend Jazzy. She passed away suddenly on the evening of the 14th December.

I can’t tell you the shock I felt reading my mail in the morning yesterday and read the mail three times before it sunk in. I mean I had just spoken to Jazzy on her Birthday a few day’s before (11th Dec)!

Jazzy was the first person to comment on my first ever uploaded LO to an online gallery. I knew NOTHING about NOTHING when it came to forums or gallery’s and it was Jazzy’s gently encouragement and help that started our friendship we shared. Jazzy was more than just an online friend to me- she was part of my “group of friends” whom I love dearly and hold close to heart. We chatted on the phone and shared our lives and story’s.

Jazzy

I thank you for letting me share in your wisdom and your life, for giving me insight into what’s important in life, for teaching me patience and showing me that no matter how hard times can get, family, friends and faith are what holds us up.

I thank you for sharing your LOVE with someone you never met , yet made her part of your “family”.

I will miss you Jazzy. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

And I want to take this time to ask you just to add Jazzy’s family to your prayers this Christmas Season. They will be without their daughter, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

merry-Christmas

And a VERY Blessed Christmas to YOU and YOURS.

Thanks sooo much for hanging in there with me while things were nuts this year. I seem to have found my feet again and have slowly found a routine that works ( so far- lol).

I’m packed and we are ready for our Family holiday – one that I think I will treasure more than others. Being away from my family this year will just seal the deal I think. Wayne is officially on leave as of 15 minutes ago and will be travelling down to meet us! I can’t WAIT! – hee hee, nor can Nathan.

Don’t forget all these Christmas kits are on SALE now at my store at MScraps. (and if you are a newsletter subscriber there is a little EXTRA discount just for you too!)

Words are never enough at times like these. It's always sad to hear that we've lost someone so valuable to the scraping community. And when it's someone that's close to you, it makes it so much more difficult. I'm very sorry for your loss. It's times like these that make us value those friends we've made though never met as we realize how much these people have brought into our lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Thank you so much for your humor, talents and thoughtfulness that you share with us all throughout the year. May your holidays and the New Year be filled with love and laughter, peace and joy, health and happiness.

I am sad, too, about Jazzy's passing. You have my sympathy in your loss.

Thanks so much for the lovely tree cluster. I still remember all the beautiful layouts that were posted at DSO last year using Christmas First, so I bought it. I think it is the first kit I have ever purchased. You did SUCH a nice job with this gorgeous kit. Your tree will be a nice addition.

Here's a hug. {{{HUG!!!}}}
I hope you have a delightful holiday season.

Oh,I am so sorry to hear about Jazzy. We all sort of started together at SBM and learned and were staunch friends. I was on her CT for quite awhile and she was ever kind and sweet and encouraging.

I hope you will have a happy holiday in spite of this sad news. Also, I hope you are enjoying being at MScraps. I'm on Heather T.'s CT and enjoy it loads.

Take care, Kim.

Kim love, my dear sweet friend, I had just replied to your newsletter, hopped on over to snag your gorgeous tree before heading off to bed and, of course, just HAD to read your post.

Although, I have not known Jazzy on a personal level, I have left comments on her blog from time-to-time. A few of those times were after the loss of her daughter and then her grandson, as well as in dealing with her own illness. I've kept Jazzy tucked inside my heart, my thoughts and my prayers and had just recently been thinking about her more than usual.

Reading your post, I was truly saddened to hear that she has passed away.

I am SO sorry for your loss girlfriend. Friends like Jazzy are rare treasures and you are SO blessed to have had the opportunity to have had each other as friends!

Jazzy is in a better place. A HAPPY place. No more pain. No more sadness. She is FREE!

My heart is with you and Jazzy's family, for as Valinda mentioned, losing a loved one during the holidays is especially difficult.

Wishing you and YOUR precious family a sparkling holiday sweet lady and hoping the time away gives you some extra special time to grieve the loss of Jazzy and reflect on ALL of the wonderful years you've had together here in Scrapland!

See you next year darlin'!

Much love and squishy hugs,
Linda XOXO

So sorry to hear of your friend Jazzy passing. I had a dear friend pass away suddenly on Boxing Day (day after Christmas) a few years ago. Such a shock isn't it, when someone goes unexpectedly. Though I don't think any passing can be 'easy'.

Lovely kits!

Aw Kim, such sad news, isn't it?
Jazzy was such a dear sweet lady, always optimistic and always was writing so lovingly about her family and friends. A lovely lady is lost, but I do believe she now is a very special angel, watching out for all who's been dear to her heart.

I thought I had left some love here, but it seems I didn't. So sorry about that. My thoughts have been here, but that doesn't make up for much.

Just popped by to wish you and yours a HAPPY NEW YEAR.
