WHEEEEEEEE- have you enjoyed your iNSD weekend?? Gosh I spent too much, but bought a few goodies that will help with albums I am hoping to finish- uhum, BEFORE Christmas- bWHAAHAHAH.
I did have an issue with two stores download links which bombed out I think because of overloaded servers but besides those I have it all and can’t WAIT to scrap and play with my new “toys”-lol
Did you also have a great Mothers Day?? OMG, seriously, I CRIED with laughter yesterday. Wayne left here early to fetch my dad from the airport ( his Mothers Day gift to me- a sleep in- hee hee) It takes just on a hour and a half to get there and my Dad was arriving at 9.30am- uhum yeah! Thanks Waynie- lol.
So off he goes and like any international airport, ours has grown HUGE. With floors and floors and shops, restuarant floors, international and local arrivals and departures- you get the idea.
Wayne luckily gets parking on the second floor and is running a little late due to road works. Checks his phone to see the time and is relieved that he is only 10 minutes late and that baggage claim will take at least 20-25 minutes so he is fine!
BWWWWWWWAHAHA- he is walking over the causeway into the airport and he says he see’s my Dad straight in front of him staring around in a circle! lol The second floor is the food court! He gets such a fright that he rechecks the time in case he miss read it arriving- BWHAHAH.
He walks straight into my dad and say’s OLD MAN( his name for my dad-haha) what the hell are you doing HERE?? And where the hell are your cases?? Wayne says the look on my dad’s face when he heard Wayne say OLD MAN- was pure relief - then like he wanted to kiss him! hahaha
My dad say’s he followed everyone off the plane ( it’s only the second time he has ever flown so can understand this one!) and he didn’t have a clue where to go - so followed the people in front of him and NOT the “throng” of people coming off the plane with him - landed up going straight up towards internationals and bypassed the “luggage claim” completely which is on the ground floor- BWHAHAHAHA
He found the food court on the 2nd floor, but then didn’t know where to go from there- and that’s when Wayne walked into him! Wayne took him back down to arrivals and had to tell the story to the security guards at baggage claim let my Dad back INTO the place to get his case! BWHAHAHA- they had a good giggle too and actually took him to the right carousel ;-) PHEW.
To be honest I think my Dad had an angel watching him because the timing was just perfect- any earlier and Wayne would have been waiting down at the bottom for my Dad and my Dad would have been wondering around the airport which is HUGE- could have been HOURS and lots of frantic nerves later for sure-lol!
