Today is Silvia's DAY- my wonderful friend and CT member! It was Silvia's Birthday yesterday actually-lol, but I had to finish something before I could 'announce' it here! I made a special LO/card for her and I wanted to finish it off properly so that I could give it to you as your freebie today!
And SILVIA is today's "Smile award' nominee too! Besides being on my team-LOL, Silvia runs a hectic lifestyle with working nightshifts at a hospital, her mom is ill and she is at home alone with her kids and cats because hubby is away due to work reasons- yet she finds the time to scrap, list freebies and tell us about her life on her blog!! That inspires me the most when I am feeling 'bogged down' by time or errands - I just remember how much you have on YOUR plate and mine doesn't look so big anymore-LOL- and you always do it with a cheer and a laugh! You inspire me girl- thank you!This is also one of the STUNNING LO's that Silvia sent me using my Denim-flare kit!!! This balloon flew straight outside the house window! How AWESOMe is that-! She also used one of my Age it Quick corners for the paper!

And another quick Thank you to Mrs Miles- she has a friend( a very nervous one ) that has just started selling her designs- ( On Monday actually) and Mrs Miles left the link on her blog for us to go and see her work- ( always sooo hard when you are a new designer on the block!!-LOL) Well I'm glad she did- I'm such a fussy buyer-LOL( besides those grab bags that I can't resist!-hee hee) and I was sooo impressed by Olivia Dorazio's Autumn Harvest Blessings kit ( has all the bells and whistles-png's, overlays,PSD files, leaf shapes, leaves and oh goodness you have to see it for yourself!) that I bought it- I used it in todays freebie!!! This is the commercial use version but there is a personal use version too!
I sent Silvia some 'virtual flowers' last night- LOL, well I couldn't give them to her personaly so I sent them the only way I know how- in a LO- This is what I used- so I am giving them to you today as your freebie kit- Sweet Silvia ( her favourite colours too-LOL). The leaves and the overlays were from Olivia's kit! The Flower is from my " Bloomin Beauty" kit. WOW Kim - this is just stunning! I hardly don't recognize Olivia's leaves and overlays - you have introduced them PERFECTLY. How DO you do this? I spoke to Olivia and she's VERY touched and excited. All the kindesses of the scrapper's world have overwhelmed her! Thanks for mentoring to our 'newbie' designers. What an honor for you to include her with these other very talented designers.
On another subject - do we get a 'peek' in the hospital with a snap of you and Zeddy? This sounds like a moment you will want to preserve! Its funny when you GIVE you always recieve much more in return. I volunteer at Miles school and I've found you can't out-give yourself, the students have blessed us in so many ways. Also, each time I 'teach' there, I learn new things! (y, this OLD dog can still learn new tricks)
