Where has the day gone

I'm telling you- I looked at the clock and it's after 1pm already!! hahahaha- The day is half gone ! It's been a mixed up day again with Wayne (my DH) arriving from Johannesburg only this morning (had to spend the night there due to missing last flight out-LOL)- So I didn't sleep very soundly as it's the first time in almost 2 years that he hasn't been home overnight! And our wonderful Cat has now found a new playground- the ROOF! So the whole night I woke up *swearing* at the cat as she ran around after who knows what-but it sounded like something was going to drop through the ceiling any minute!! hahahaha-LOL, And I had to take Nathan to school too-(hahahahaha- normally Waynes job)- and let me tell you I'm NOT the prettiest thing in the morning!! -LOL, I just jumped in the shower- put some lipstick on and covered the eyes with sunglasses! Jumped in the car looking like a drowned rat and off we went- and all we said the WHOLE trip there was*silence* and then -Bye, bye- see you later-LOL. Both my poor son and I don't talk much first thing in the morning and without Waynes morning yabber it was a very 'quiet' affair here this morning with a few 'grunts' for words-ROTF> An old friend popped in for coffee too and has just left- so I'm full of caffeine and have done bugger all else! hahahahahaha

Renee my SA counterpart and CT member sent me this AWESOME LO of her Boyfriends daughter-
She used my Bling it kit- and the Shelbz Flutter background paper- And another great SA counterpart and scrapper/designer Jenni sent me this STUNNING LO of her son and she used my Bug-Ing kit with a few other extra's.

Now if you have never been to Jenni's site before- The Chaos Lounge- do yourself a favour and pop on over- she has a BRILLIANT set of doodle blooms up for grabs and some rugby photo's put up just for me-ROTF!!!! Thanks girlfriend! And yeah-mine are coming I promise!! hahaha

Mrs Miles asked me to show her some photo's of my MIL and I doing our 'volunteer' work at our local provincial goverment hospital- well here we go Barb- these were taken in the kitchen where we 'make and pour' soup and coffee into those cups then run backwards and forwards through the hospital and back again to refill the trays. Good excersise I tell you-LOL.

The whole 'Volunteer project' is called Operation Smile and it is run through all the different churches here in Port Elizabeth. Each day of the week is allocated to a different Church group and we have been doing it for over 6 years now. The bread and soup etc is donated from different Supermarkets and Churches too. At Christmas time all the 'childrens homes' and underprivilaged kids get Christmas Parcels and presents with parties too. People staying in Hospital get nighty's and blankets etc. ( this is a goverment hospital with NO funding!) And yes I make sure we are heard coming through the corridors- LOL.

So I named the stuff I made for the LO- Operation Smile- hahahaha, It's one paper and the denim wrapped star with a glitter dot star and denim button with seperate stitch. Hope you have fun with it-http://www.4shared.com/file/27379600/9b492600/kb-operationsmile.html And YAY- tomorrows Friday!!! YIPPPEEE, hahahaLOL. Sending hugs and Loves Kim

Great "staged" photos of you "doing good." How often does that happen?!! ;) Actually, it was terrific to see you in action with your MIL. I bet you do bring lots of smiles to the patients. Brava, chica. Thanks for the Operation Smile mini. By the way, your DSO October color challenge inspired the colors used in today's word art. Brilliant display, and I LOVE the kit you made for the challenge. Gorgeous. Thanks for being YOU, Melanie http://mmdcreations.blogspot.com/

Awww aw aw aw... won't crack off any more 'bergs for you for scrapping your Mermy. I know about this morning thing... but they DO leave home... and you can then live in your pjammas all day long if you wish. I am SO glad we live out of town... some days my real clothes don't see outside the closet. LOL.

Thanks so much for everything Kim, but specially for being funny, sweet and kind YOU.

HUGS UPON HUGS!

It's a great project as you tell and it's a great idea to collaborate in something like considering the lack of funding. It really has to make a difference to people in need of hospital treatment. :) Your mother in law looks a lovely woman, really nice person. :)

Don't worry about the morning issue many people are in the same boat. LOL I have the same problems LOL In any case it's great to know that Nathan was feeling much better and could go to school. :)

Thanks so much for the beautiful cluster and best wishes. :O)
