a first

 

Well this is a first for me- (i'm here Bunny Wunny , Sheee's can still here you tappin and- oooh  you do have my *info for blogger*- BWAHAHAHAH)). It's almost 10 pm and here I am blogging. But I know if I don't pop in now and say HI - tomorrow will be a definite no show! My man is standing at the gate in Zurich ready to board his plane home! WOOOOHOOOOOOO! Can you tell I'm excited- haha. I swear I haven't stopped grinning all day. He'll only arrive at 11am tomorrow morning - but hell, he's on his way and that's all I need to know.

I went shopping again today- sheeee's I don't think Wayne must go away tooo often- I blow the budget- lol. Got some real cutie undies ( now just got to make a plan to get a teen occupied- BWAHAHAHA). We are going away for the weekend- the whole family and I can't wait. The last time I was at Sun City was on our 10th wedding anniversary ( that was 9 years ago)- and we are staying at the Palace of the Lost City! Getting spoilt and the boys are playing golf on the Gary Player Golf course so they have Sat all worked out already- Me?- HAHAHAHAHAHA, I think I'm leaving my *killing clubs* at home this time- and will be taking my camera instead!

These I took the last time we were there- but can't wait now as I'm sure to be looking through different eyes!-

Stefanie- you were right- OMG, it's was 31C here today- I'm sneezing like a banshy - I think spring has come a little early- and it's like a summers evening here tonight! GORGEOUS- for the first time in months I'm sitting here without a long sleeved top! YAY- more reasons to smile. AWW- thanks so much for my poem Mrs Miles- girl- you are just tooo good at those!lol

Because I won't be here tomorrow , I made you a little something to play with till I get back on Thursday-

Two more sleeps

WOOOHOOOO- only two more sleeps and Wayne is home- hee hee - OK I sound like a little an overgrown teenager ( which is sometimes how I feel-lol)- but you must understand that when my man goes away for a week- he usually ( NORMALLY) lands up staying longer than a month!- NO LIES! hahaha. so when he told me this morning that he is already getting ready to leave- I was as happy as a pig in shit!- And am now smiling from ear to ear as the Travel Agency phoned me just now to confirm Nathans and my names for our flights this weekend- WOOOOHOOOO, So he has organised that too! AWWWWW- can you tell I love the man to death-lol . The weekend was LONG- but Saturday was fun watching the rugby with all Deons brothers and his Dad. ( my *other family*)- Nathan was fishing most of the weekend- so I took time out and watched movies, read some and also did a bit of playing in photoshop- but I didn't spend much time on the PC- which I think was GOOD for me- I'm rearing to get stuck in again.

And Bunny- I can hear you tapping from here - lol- but girlfriend- you can't put pictures of CAKE on your blog when I'm hungry - cause like I said- I WANTED SOME- hahahaha, so that is EXACTLY where I've been- and I loved seeing Bunny's photo's of the kids getting off the school bus- it give me a little insight into *the otherside of the world* and my friends lives etc- so I thought I would show you MY TRIP today- Yup Mrs Miles has asked for a route or trip that I do everyday too- so here is the DAILY-

this is my street- I have to just travel straight up and turn left and Nathans school is up on the hill

 

hee hee- I snapped as I was driving out the window- that's why the car mirror is in the way- and YUP- we drive on the left hand side of the road-

The tree's line the long driveway up to the school past the new school field and sports house.

This is the senior part of the school- and it still has the nuns staying there full time too- Yup it's a Catholic school and this building was built in 1900.

Nathan(aaah man he is looking more and more like his dad!)  and his best friend Kyle - They wear school uniforms which I LOVE! OOOOH Bunny this is the middle of winter by the way- LOL

You can see the *orangey trees* in the background- the rest stay green all year.

And than WE ALL WENT CAKE SHOPPING- lol

This is my favourite shopping centre- well the entrance I used- LOL. It's usually quieter than the BIG ones and it's close to home! Well we got CAKE, we got a lot more too- MORAL of this story is-

Don't read Bunny's blog till after LUNCH and don't go shopping on an empty stomach! hahahaha. I hope you all have a super day further. I'm going to now go and make some coffee to go with a HUGE chunk of Trip Choc cake! YUM! sending hugs and loves Kim

Looks kind of cool- hahaha. And for the Chinese this is a very lucky day! 8 being a very lucky number for them. I think today they also have that mass wedding ceremony as well. Don't know if I'd like to have been married in one HUGE crowd-lol, what about the bride being the centre of attraction thing? no thanks- LOL.

AWWW I went missing yesterday- I didn't sleep well at ALL on Wednesday night and was tired as anything yesterday- so watched DVD's the whole afternoon with Nathan- we closed the curtains- got the blankets, made pop corn, got the sweeties for after the salt-lol. And just sat the whole afternoon- I LOVED IT! He was so thrilled his mom took off from the computer to come and spend the afternoon with him. But must admit- I think I watched my months DVD quota in one sitting- hahahaha, I hardly watch TV as I get bored! And would rather read,draw or play on the computer -lol. So it's not often that I sit in the lounge with the boys *just watching crap*- KWIM?- so it was special yesterday. I LOVED 10 000BC which Nathan said I would enjoy ( he knows me WELL- lol) it reminded me of the books I read when I was at school- The clan of the Cave Bear Series.

Then I did a little scrapping in the evening too-

This is my dear Friend Lynnie- we have been friends for over 22 years! ( Deon, Lynne and I studied together)- Lynne married one of Wayne's friends from school too- so we have always been close-(even lived in Argentina together!)- She moved to Canada just over two years ago- but when we yak on the phone it's like she was here the day before- LOL. Horrid for the phone bills- and we will say goodbye and actually phone back a few seconds later because we forgot to tell something else! This photo was taken on a holiday weekend and we were scrounging in the fruit salad bowl- * one for you, one for me with the spoon*- LOL, MISS YA LYNNIE!

AWWW- my hubby is gone. And like I told Bunny- man I am getting SOFT in my old age! I missed the bugger before he was even gone for 4 hours! HUH?- I think knowing that he is in the air and not close by is what did it- but he hasn't gone away for more than a night in the last 4 years! And then it was for months at a time- but now I HATE IT- . I even teared up at the airport! It's only just over a week KIM!!-lol, I know most woman LOVE having the peace and being able to do what they want to do ( but I can anyway even with him here )- and the bed is toooo BIG dammit! lol- so I had the dog with me last night! But man the things snores worse than a freight train! So I think tonight I'm going solo! lol

OOOH but the WORST!! I had to wake up with the BIRDS this morning so I could get Nathan ready and to school-AND MAKE my own coffee- COME back Waynie, only one morning and waking up when it's still dark is for the birds and YOU!!  Ok I'm done whining now. Such a whimp I know- HAHA

I'm really chuffed as I am getting an Album finished for my Dad- He can fill all the important details on the opposite page which I will have for journaling- and at least the whole family can then see their family tree and ancestors! As I sent this to my sister- who came back with- WHO's Wallace?- lol. Well Wallace was my grans maiden name- and this is her on her wedding day in 1935 with my Great Grand father! With my dad doing the history on each page it will be a great *heirloom* to pass on.

Well- I got to go fetch my little man from school- and then taxi him to a friend who is down for a family funeral and whom he hasn't seen since December. Until tomorrow- big hugs and loves Kim

weekend gone

WOW_ how quick did this weekend go by! AAAWWWW_ thanks so soo much to all of your for Waynies Bday wishes! I passed them ALL on- he still can't get over that even though he doesn't know any of you ( only through me) that he got so many well wishes! THANK YOU! And to be honest the man didn't have a chance to think about getting OLD- bwahaha

He got off the plane on Friday afternoon and had to rush to the *blood suckers* department for a blood test ( AIDS test) as he needs to go to Russia tomorrow (for a business trip) and his Visa had expired- and the new regulations require a AIDS test- well it was run- suck and then rush to get the passport to the travel agent too- lol

First thing Sat morning(on his BDAY!) it was back to the doc's, as the pathology dept refused to hand us the test- had to be delivered to the docs office- arrgh, so it was a WE NEED IT ASAP- or he isn't going to get the visa in time! They sent a courier with it and we then had to let the doc sign it- and then rush it to the Travel Agent so she could courier it straight to Cape Town- So what a way to start off your Bday. I felt so sorry for him- and then we had the folks and friends popping in with the huge family braai ( bbq) in the evening - Now that was so enjoyable, I just love it when all the folks get together- OH MY GOSH- they can talk the hind ass off a donkey that lot! hahahaha.

AWWW- and this photo is so special- I haven't got one of all the DADS together- and I took this on Sat night- still want to scrap it- but these three together are TROUBLE with a capital T- lol, it's Deons Dad ( my *other*dad), My father( now I see why the hell I'm so SHORT- bwahahaha) and Waynes Dad.

So my poor man had a busy day on Sat- but we made it up to him yesterday- we sat in bed watching a movie the WHOLE family- dogs and cats included. LOL- eating tart and drinking coffee! We haven't done that since Nathan was about 9 and it was a AWESOME family day!
